Resurrection of old projects

What I really hope to do this year is to finish up some very old projects.  This will be hard for me to do because I really like to start new projects and try out new blocks, but in an effort to try to straighten up the creative space and lighten my (imaginary) load, I will attempt to get some things completed, or give them away.

I unearthed two projects today.  The photos below show a stack of 37 blocks, which I created sometime between 1996 and 2000.  The quilt was on the cover of Patchwork and Quilting, I believe.  I am not even sure of that.  My original goal was to make a queen sized quilt.  Plans have changed.  I made three more blocks from the parts which were already cut out and these 40 blocks will now become a table runner. 

Later in the week, I will show the second project I intend to work on to completion.
